Giving you the tools to take back your power and cultivate a deep sense of trust in yourself and your decisions by teaching on food, fitness, lifestyle and wellbeing through the trauma sensitive and neurodivergent lens. With 15 years within the fitness industry, Amanda has been Fitness First UK National PT Ambassador, contributed to publications such as Women's Health, InStyle, Fit & Well, Womens Running, Daily Mail and more. She wrote the pre-race prep for The Official Coaching Course for The Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2015. After training throughout her single pregnancy, she then went on to create StrongMamaMoves, where she taught mum and baby exercise classes and coaching, understanding the benefit of safe, suitable exercise and social interaction on maternal mental health. StrongMamaMoves was a Finalist for Best New Business Set Up in 2018 in the Raring2Go awards. Alongside working with incredible clients in supporting them to achieve their goals, she LOVED teaching group ex. In her personal training experience she was a competitive bikini bodybuilder, competing in shows such as WBFF, UKBFF, Miami Pro and others with a highest placing of third and completed many 5K, 10K and half marathon distance races. Late recognised as autistic, Amanda is mum to Ruby (also autistic) and everything became clear as to why for all the years in coaching fitness and nutrition that she thought outside the box and approached things diferently to get results that what was found in textbook. Sensory needs and preferences and fluctuations in energy and motivation are seen and respected as things to work with not against. When you harness your uniqueness by empowering your own needs and drive for autonomy, you tap into the key to cultivating self love, deep inner trust and boosting confidence. Trauma sensitive in approach to teaching and consideration, we explore ideas by moving away from the knee-jerk reaction to self criticism, judgement and achieving to be loved and accepted; instead looking at how you can explore your habits, goals and beliefs with an inquisitive mind. By moving away from the desire to judge and criticise where you are and what you do, you free the energy to find solutions that work for YOU and support you to feel good.
